Yes, both systems allow you to remove or replace a board anywhere in the deck without disassembling it completely. Please refer to the installation instructions available here<\/a> or to the installation video available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, in order to facilitate the installation of the terrace, it is imperative to put all your structure at the same level or at least to follow the slope of the concrete slab in a regular way if it is not too important. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the minimum height between the ground and the wood deck? <\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You will need at least 75mm of space to install a Softline<\/a> or Technideck<\/a> deck. In order to prolong the life of your deck, it is however advised to have a minimum of 100mm under the deck (blade), the ideal being located around 150mm under the blades. The Softline<\/a> system requires a 400mm clearance. The Technideck<\/a> system requires, depending on the type of wood, a center distance of 400, 462.5 or 500mm. It is possible to build your deck on any solid support that guarantees the durability of the deck structure, under the conditions of use prescribed by the suppliers of this. This includes: Flat roofs with or without waterproofing, wood or metal frame structure. The ideal is to lay the terrace on a concrete slab with a sufficient slope for the drainage of the water and then on blocks. Unfortunately it is not always possible to have a concrete slab due to budget, available space or location of the floor. You can make concrete stringers or concrete blocks distributed in such a way as to comply with the installation instructions for our Softline<\/a> or Technideck<\/a> decks. No, it is not necessary to pre-drill the clips into the joists, unless you are working with joists with a density of 1000kg\/m3.
